George Lazenby

At 30, he was the youngest actor to play James Bond and remains both the only actor not born in the British Isles to play the role and the only actor to play Bond just once in the official series.

Australian-born George Lazenby came to the Bond series after a career as the highest paid male model in Europe. Although critics were initially mixed on his performance in ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE (1969), time has elevated his work in the film to rank among the best of the Bonds.

He has continued to act in such projects as the French Emmanuelle television movies and TNT’s Gettysburg (1993), while also making himself a millionaire several times over with astute business and real estate investments.
