Brane Živković is an award-winning film, television and theatre composer, internationally recognized recording artist and producer, technologist and educator. He is the recipient of numerous awards in the film and recording industries, including the Golden Arena Award (as Film Composer of the Year in 1984) and platinum record awards in former Yugoslavia. In addition to teaching film music courses at New York University since the late eighties, Živković was Director of Film Scoring at the Aspen Music Festival and School in Colorado in the nineties and for many years has taught film scoring courses and master-classes in Italy and Argentina. He was the founder and CEO of Soundball, a global leader in the development of Structured Audio technologies, an international standard for synthetic audio within MPEG-4. Živković is a member of ASCAP and MCPS.
