Andrew Prine

Appearing on Broadway, Andrew Prine soared to recognition in the leading role of the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Look Homeward Angel, and with his film portrayal of James Keller in the Academy Award-winning, THE MIRACLE WORKER (1962).

Andrew has starred with many Hollywood legends including John Wayne (Chisum [1970]), Jimmy Stewart, Dean Martin and Raquel Welch (Bandolero! [1968]), Glenn Ford (Advance to the Rear [1964], and William Holden (The Devil’s Brigade [1968]).

His television work was launched with such quality shows such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Alcoa Steel Hour and Playhouse 90, and TV classic Westerns, Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, Bonanza and Have Gun Will Travel, then came the SCI FI genre, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, V and, more recently, Six Feet Under, Boston Legal and CSI (directed by Quentin Tarantino which won an EMMY Award).

Andrew has received a number of Critics Awards for Best Actor. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award and The Golden Boot Award for his career in Westerns.

A member of the prestigious Actor’s Studio, Andrew’s work in theatre includes, Long Day’s Journey Into Night with Charlton Heston and Deborah Kerr, The Caine Mutiny directed by Henry Fonda, Arthur Miller’s The Man Who Had All The Luck, A Distant Bell on Broadway, and productions of Mrs. Patterson and Borak Off Broadway.
